Ah, yes, site history. I'm not really going to go into detail here. There's really not much to say anyway. I started to think about creating a skin site at the end of the summer of 2001. I wanted to start a new site since my other sites, a personal site and a Beatles site, had been whiped off the face of the earth without reason. I had also been playing The Sims since it was realeased and I had interest in skinning. It was then that I made my first serious attempt to skin which was Rock Star Pink. Gwen Stefani from No Doubt followed soon after. I eventually found myself in the skinners forum at The Sims Resource asking if anyone would like to join my staff. No one was really interested in joining, but one night I got a message on AIM from Superman at All About Skins offering to host my skins until I was able to finish my website. Sooner or later I finally finished my site (then called Sarah's Rock Star Sims Boutique) and the layout (featuring the site mascot, Rock Star Pink) looked something like this. The site was fairly successful, but it was hosted by Geocities (which is a pain because of the bandwidth issues). I wasn't happy with their hosting at all after that. One night at a football game (yes, a football game), I was talking to my best friend Ash and brought up the whole Geocities thing. Then, she agreed to host my site. Things went really well until the site became more popular, causing the bandwidth to go up. After an upgrade to Ash's account and moving some of my things to a different site the site was able to withstand all the visitors. Then, I think Ash became tired of website stuff so no more hosting. That's okay though. I spent the first half of the downtime working on my senior project on mod fashion, which produced a set of six mod skins. I spent the second half working on new skins for the new site and a layout while keeping up with a busy camping schedule and college. La la la...and here I am. Working on a brand new site, with a new name and layout. Hopefully it will be uploaded somewhere soon ^.^;;
